We are delighted that Colchester Borough Council (CBC) has announced the Planning Committee meeting to determine the Horkesley Park planning application date has now been set after the application being in with CBC for over two years - we are pleased this is finally progressing.

CBC have stated that the Horkesley Park Planning Application is scheduled to be considered by the Planning Committee at its meeting at the Town Hall on 26 May 2011 at 6.00pm.

They suggest anyone wishing to attend and listen to the debate arrives between 5.15pm and 5.45pm. However, CBC advises that occasionally it is necessary to change committee arrangements or defer an item from the agenda and therefore anyone wishing to attend is advised to check CBC’s website in advance of the meeting.

CBC has written to a number of people who sent in representations, click here to download, informing them that more information is available, with details of the planning meeting and inviting people to write with additional comments if they so wish. All comments previously made will be fully considered and therefore it is not necessary to repeat these in additional correspondence.
