DTZ has a multidisciplinary consulting team with expertise in innovation and technology, incubation and workspace, business planning, economic development, economic impact assessment, urban and rural regeneration, development appraisal, market research, UK and EU grant funding programmes and planning. 

Chris Cobbold is a Director at DTZ. He is a land and business economist by training, and a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He has been a director at DTZ since 1997 and has directed major assignments concerned with:

Regional economic development, including the analysis of the competitive performance of regional and local economies;

Advising on action that may be taken to enhance regional and local economic performance, particularly by Central Government, Regional Development Agencies and local authorities;

Advising on the contribution that various development projects, including visitor attractions, might make to the achievement of economic development objectives; and

The operation of housing markets and policies, particularly in the growth areas of the South East.
